Maggie Wei is a Taiwanese curator, designer. She holds an MFA in Curatorial Practice from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and a BA in Creative Product Design from National Taichung University of Science and Technology.
Maggie’s practice centers on feminist perspectives and the representation of women within conceptual art. She is committed to exploring gender dynamics and advocating for female autonomy in the contemporary art world. Her work emphasizes inclusivity and diversity, grounded in the belief that gender should not be viewed in binary opposition.
Beyond her roles as artist and curator, Maggie also integrates her background in design into her curatorial projects. Her academic research focuses on feminist conceptual art and the design of immersive exhibition spaces.
